The short answer

Bosch sold its security and communications technology product business to the European investment firm Triton. The sale completed on June 30, 2025 and took effect on July 1. The divested business now operates as KEENFINITY Group, an independent company, and its video systems line is being rebranded IQSIGHT. Bosch product names continue during a transition period, and no product line has been announced as discontinued.

Robert Bosch GmbH still exists and still sells plenty of other things. What left is the division that made your cameras, BVMS, access control, and intrusion panels. That distinction is where most of the confusion comes from.

How to confirm this yourself in about thirty seconds

Open the old Bosch Security video analytics URL. Checked on August 3, 2026, it returns a 301 permanent redirect to keenfinity-group.com, and that address returns a second 301 to iqsight.com. A company only chains permanent redirects like that when the move is settled rather than provisional. The KEENFINITY press room carries the completion announcement, and IQSIGHT states in its own site footer that it was formerly Bosch Video Systems.

Which product lines moved

KEENFINITY's completion announcement names the brands that came across. If yours is on this list, your vendor relationship changed even though your equipment did not.

Bosch video systems

Cameras, video analytics including Essential and Intelligent Video Analytics and IVA Pro, and BVMS. Being renamed IQSIGHT.

What to actually check on your own paperwork

An ownership change is routine and usually uneventful. These are the five things worth five minutes each, in rough order of how often they cause a problem.

Who is the warranty counterparty

Ask your integrator, in writing, which legal entity honors the warranty on equipment you bought before July 2025 and on anything you buy now. One sentence in an email is enough, and it is the single most useful thing on this list.

Whether your support contract needs novating

Support and maintenance agreements sometimes need formal assignment to the new entity. Your integrator normally handles this, but on public-sector and enterprise contracts the paperwork can sit unsigned for months if nobody asks.

Vendor records and approved supplier lists

If your organization maintains an approved vendor list, insurance certificates, or supplier records keyed to a company name, the entity behind these products has changed. Finance and procurement teams will want that record updated before the next renewal cycle, not after it.

Part numbers on open quotes

Quotes issued across the transition can mix old and new naming for the same item. Confirm the part number rather than the brand name, since the part number is what actually ships.

Roadmap questions for long projects

For a specification that runs several years out, ask where the product line is heading under the new owner. KEENFINITY has publicly emphasized continued investment in AI analytics, but a direct answer from your account team is worth more than a press release.

The paperwork items are the ones that bite late. A warranty counterparty nobody wrote down is a problem three years from now, not today, and the same goes for support agreements that quietly need reassigning. If your team already has somewhere to track contract obligations and renewal dates across vendors, this is the moment to correct the supplier record rather than discovering it during a claim.

None of this is a reason to rip anything out. Bosch cameras that worked in June 2025 work the same way today, the analytics on them is unchanged, and they still speak ONVIF and RTSP like any other professional IP camera. If a vendor uses the ownership change to push you toward a full replacement, treat that as a sales tactic rather than a technical argument. Because the business behind it moved. Checked on August 3, 2026, the old Bosch Security video pages return a 301 permanent redirect to keenfinity-group.com, which redirects again to iqsight.com. Permanent redirects are the standard way a company tells search engines that content has moved for good.

Should I switch camera vendors because of this?

Not on its own. An ownership change is not a technical fault, and the hardware and analytics are unchanged. Reasons to reconsider a vendor are things like a mixed estate you cannot manage centrally, analytics that no longer meet your needs, or a support experience that has genuinely degraded. Judge it on those, measured over a few months.

Does the change affect NDAA 889 compliance status?

Corporate ownership changes do not alter the technical compliance status of equipment already assessed under NDAA Section 889, which concerns specific named Chinese manufacturers.
